Sat. Feb 12

Today I worked more with he physical therapist on arm movement and hand control. Still don't really have "hands" so to speak, basically my hands fell like clubs of wood on the ends of my arms. But the therapists say they are really impressed with how much my arm strength and movement is returning and maintaining. Everyday is about making little steps ahead, since that's the only direction I can go in.

I know a lot of people would like to come to visit. As the dust settles and I get into a routine, we'll set up times that people can come and visit. Thanks again to everyone for all your support. Please don't feel slighted if I don't contact anyone right away, I'm still making a big adjustment to my new reality.

  15. Eric, I love working with you and even just hanging out. I know its hard to see improvement, but even the couple DAYS (only days) that are between our workouts, I see big difference in you voice strength, chair control, arm movement and control, and much more. I can't tell you enough how much a great attitude like yours will help, and every time you say no I want to do another 5 or 10 reps beyond the goal, will really add up. Keep up the drive and desire to heal in your mind and your body will follow. I will continue to be there for you buddy, just remember it is a whole new world, find ways to embrace it.

    much love

  16. Eric, I am having a Birthday Party at the boat Club tomorrow starting at 7:30, you are invited. Talk to you doctor and see if you can get out of the rehab for an hour or two. If you can and need a van with a lift i can probably find one. or just take a cab. They have cabs with lifts.

    Hope to see ya.

    Andrew
